Client Requirement - The assignment involved the following :

  • Study of the operations to understand the needs of the business
  • Design of the Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC)-Centralised Finance Services
  • Identification of the most appropriate location for the FSSC
  • Identification of the sections that can be brought under the FSSC
  • Implementation Plan for the FSSC in stages
  • Setting up of the Processes and hand holding in the actual implementation of the FSSC

Deliverables that we executed - Process flow :

  • We have done a detailed review of the operations and prepared the high - level process flow charts for the Operations
  • The "As-Is" process flow charts were played back to the respective personnel for confirmation and validation
  • The Design of the FSSC was done on the basis of the needs of the business with the As Is Process Flow Charts forming the base
  • The Implementation Plan was prepared and shared with the client

Results: The Implementation of the stage 1 has been successfully completed with the following items :

  • Organisational Chart
  • Roles & Responsibilities with Job Descriptions
  • Departmental KPIs and Individual KPIs
  • Departmental Procedures
  • Process Flow charts for the key deliverables of the Department
